This is my 2nd "Thanksgiving Friday" post. Thank you for your positive feedback, you seem to be liking them.
Here are some of the things that I'm thankful for this week and please share yours in the comment section. You must have something to be thankful for this week.
Weather
Due to heavy rainfall, floods have destroyed homes and villages.
I am lucky and thankful that I still have a roof over my head. There are so many, who have lost everything to this natural disaster.
If you or your family is affected by the flood, my prayers and thoughts are with you.
Blogbranch at Pure London Show
If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you know what I'm talking about.
I got the opportunity to attend Pure London Show, courtesy of Blogbranch. It's a Fashion Trade Show attended by established and emerging fashion brands, students and bloggers to name a few.
Blogbranch teamed up with Footwear and Accessories sponsors Highline United Europe and opened their very own #OOTD photo booth. Whoever tweeted their OOTD using hash-tag #OOTD, #pure2014 and @blogbranch were entered in a draw to win a pair of shoes. The photo booth a total hit.
Thank you to Stephanie Hind for the experience. One of my goals this year is to go out and meet other blogger and this is definitely a beginning for me. For someone who is shy and nervous, this was a major leap towards achieving my goal.
If you haven't visited blogbranch website, you must. You will find blogging tips on how to engage with readers, getting more traffic and also how to get retweeted by Tyra Banks
Meeting Abbey Clancy
I got the chance to meet, take an autograph and a picture with the famous Model, Winner of Strictly Come Dancing and wife of the famous tall footballer Peter Crouch.
She is gorgeous (the photo doesn't do any justice for both of us) and is very tall as well :D
I look tiny in front of her.
All my teeth can be seen, it's blur and photo bombed by the phone lady but this is the only picture I have and wanted to share with you, please don't mind.

DeleteI am thankful that i am sticking to my fitness regime even though i don't do much just walk and run. But even that is very tiring for me. I am happy that i am atleast doing that to be honest.

Ooh how cool that you got to meet a celeb :-) And you look fine on that picture. But she does look like a giant, hehe. And what I am thankful for this week? My boyfriend. I'm stuck with a knee injury so he has to help me out a lot, and I am very grateful that he does that for me.
ReplyDeleteHehe...she is VERY tall.
DeleteOh no, hope you are doing well. That is so nice of your boyfriend to be helping you and taking care of you. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Take care xx
Dear Naaj, thank you so much for this post! And congrats that you had the courage to visit this event, but you got really the reward as you met Abbey Clancy! This is so great and I´m really happy with you - although I agree obviously Abbey is tall, I think near to her I would look like a dwarf, because I´m petite :) I can imagine that this visit was not so easy for you and I´m so proud on you <3 I hope really you are also proud on you!
ReplyDeleteI´m thankful that on Friday my lovely husband survived a really dangerous situation on an icy German freeway where a car in front of him suddenly started skidding out of control. Fortunately my husband was able to react immediately but maybe without the impressing reaction of the van driver next to him ... sorry I won´t finish this sentence, I think you know what I mean.
I´m so thankful for this!
Kisses from Bavaria/Germany, Rena
