We hear everybody say that Christmas is all about sharing, caring and giving. But, do we actually give our most loved precious things to others?
You may say that you share with your siblings and so on but what about a complete stranger? Have you ever thought of the people who are lonely, who do not have a family, who are orphans, who spend their Christmas alone,
who does have a family but the family have abandoned them because they are old? I don't blame you if your answer is no. Why would you? This is none of your business. There are charities who look after these people or the rich people will donate some money. These are our thoughts, isn't it?

I don't remember sharing my Christmas gift to be honest. So i am floating in the same boat as you.
However, this year I thought of doing something special. I thought of donating my Money Box to someone who needs it more than me.
This money was saved during desperate times. I thought, instead of withdrawing money from the bank and buying a gift or buying stuff from the charity shop, I decided of giving my Money Box. Why not I donate the money that I saved during my difficult times?
Imagine sharing your most favourite item in the world, something that is very sentimental.

I know this is not a lot of money and there is a lot of 1 and 2 pence but this is very special to me. Hopefully, this small gift will make someone smile. If giving this money can buy someone food this Christmas then why not? Christmas is all about making wishes come true. No matter how small they are.
We bloggers can make a big difference. When I read "blogging with purpose" I started questioning myself.
Why don't we do something special this Christmas? Doesn't matter how small. The smaller things is Life is what makes a huge difference. The feeling that you brought a smile on somebody's face is priceless.

Naaj, I think this is a very brave decision and I'm so happy to see that I inspired you to do the #purposeblogger challenge and come to this idea. I think it's really great when we can warm someone's heart, especially when they feel the most lonely.
ReplyDeleteOnly you can take the right decision who to give this amazing gift to. And don't forget to write about it later - I'm sure it will be a breath-taking moment! :)

ReplyDeleteCaring is Definitely More About Sharing With Strangers Rather Than Just Family, Call Me Bad But I Find That Selfish.. And, I Hate to Call It Charity, It's Just Our Duty Which You Are Doing
Wish You Lots of Love n Smiles.. God Bless You Loadza :)
