Thanksgiving Friday

Thankful for eating Strawberries

Strawberries are my favourite. Every time I see them, my face starts beaming. I have finished one box already and this one will disappear soon.

I don't get to eat them as often as I would like to because of my thyroid problem (very good source of Iodine) but I'm thankful that I got to eat the delicious berries this week. What is your favourite fruit?

Able to walk in these Zara shoes

I wore this shoes from Zara for the first time after purchasing them last year (first appeared in my haul post) and ended up getting blisters on both the legs. The legs were hurting a lot and I could barely walk.

Things got worse for me that evening when the bus driver told us that the buses are on diversion because of an accident. This meant, I had to walk home (30 minutes journey). My both legs were covered in plasters and I was struggling (I was literally crying because the legs were bad and to top it off, I had a terrible headache).

I prayed to God and kept walking. I was over the moon when I made it home. This was bad than last week. I am THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL FOR MAKING HOME SAFELY. I still cannot believe that I walked home that day. Thank God!

Eating healthy food

I have been making extra effort to eat healthy food like fruits, green leafy vegetables fish and drink loads of water. I started eating avocado, something I've always stayed away from but I like it now. What do you do to keep yourself healthy and fit?

So this are some of the things I am thankful and grateful for this week, what are you thankful for?

  1. I have to say Strawberries are probably one of my favourite fruits. My Grandma grows them and they are best straight off her allotment. It always makes me thinking of summer so thanks for that :) I always try to drink lots of water too. I find if I don't I get really bad headaches. Not sure if anyone else gets this?

I've always had headache problems since I was a kid but I'm making effort to drink loads of water.

  6. It's so nice to see yummy healthy food! We all definitely need our 5x a day intake of veggies and fruits. I started eating pure fruits for breakfast since last month and it's such a great energy booster for the rest of the day, I can really feel the difference. :) You made me crave for strawberries! =D It's too bad it's not on season anymore here, I have to wait next Summer :"(

Those red shoes are sooo sexy! Love the red colour :)

Take care always, love Christine ~ xo

I'm thankful this week for some insights on the personal sector I had. Namely, I have to take a difficult decision regarding my job and now it looks like as I know what to do :)

Wish you a wonderful and happy Easter, may it be a day full of pleasure and laughter!

  9. >.< Ugh that journey sounded terrible but I am glad you arrived at your destination safely. Basically the same thing happened to me this month -I even got wet by rain on the way- but thankfully everything worked out.

It's great that you decided to eat healthier. Pineapples are awesome! I didn't like avocado as a child but now I love it.

  10. Strawberries are delish!

I'm sorry to hear of your journey, we had this in Manchester a couple of months ago, a cyclist was hit and was killed. Took me over 2 hours to get home however I really did feel the poor soul and the family!
